FTS ASSET DUE DILIGENCE, SITE INSPECTION, AND TOWER OPERATION METHODOLOGY

Working from both a local office in each country of operation and regional offices, FTS takes an active and hands-on approach in conducting its due diligence and site inspection of MNO tower assets. The inspection will be overseen by the FTS Country Manager, as well as senior FTS executives and advisors, and include the following steps:

Upon satisfactory execution of due diligence and valuation of the tower assets and an agreement of sale and other terms with the MNO(s), FTS would assume responsibility for all existing sites along with the proposed new locations to be built. A description of the scope of work that FTS will perform is shown below. This is not necessarily all-inclusive and can be amended and/or added to depending upon the MNO(s) specific requirements and possible legal and environmental conditions.

BEFORE SITE ACQUISITION:

  • Site Audits: reports, suggestions and consultation.
  • Site Refurbishment.
  • Complete site management via an operation center to manage all administrative and legal issues for both owners and regulatory authorities.

AFTER ACQUISITION:

  • Maintenance and repair of all passive elements of each site.
  • Refueling.
  • Onsite regular maintenance of generators (gensets) and remote monitoring of such.

ACTIVE INFRASTRUCTURE:

FTS can conduct first line maintenance of active elements if required.

NEW SITES ACQUISITION AND BUILD-OUT:

  • Radio surveys, line-of-site, landlord negotiations, environmental Impact assessments etc. for greenfield and rooftop locations.
